The Fssai Act has lots of Categories and Sub-categories of goods which can be imported against this categories.
However, no amount of categorization can cover the lacs of products manufactured in the world which are consumed by human beings.
To permit the clearance of such goods, fssai has made some provisions under the Act.
You need to mark all such products as Proprietory foods and give its nearest category code and test report not later than 3 months old.
